My hometown is Dallas, Pennsylvania (Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area). I have a B.A. in Biology from Hartwick College ('02) in Oneonta, New York.I am currently a Masters Student in the Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior program at UK. My main interest is in salamanders, and I am planning to specifically look at gene expression in metamorphic and paedomorphic species of Ambystomatids. I'm interested in the expression of thyriod hormone receptor genes as well as other genes during metamorphosis.
